STREET LIGHTING – TEJEDA
Andled Energy was commissioned to renovate the lighting in the municipality of Gran Canario de Tejeda, with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of the system, resulting in economic savings for the municipality.
Throughout the whole installation, and according to the location of each piece of equipment, optical blocks were replaced in the urban centre, respecting the traditional Villa and Accioli style lights. Another possible solution, adopted in similar projects such as in the municipalities of Mogán (Gran Canaria) or Pedro Muñoz (Ciudad Real), is self-sufficient solar lights (as shown in the images), due to their excellent performance in rural or interurban areas without electrical installation.
Throughout the duration of the installation great care was taken to avoid light pollution, given the proximity of different astronomical observatories located on the island.
